From our kennel comes a proven Irish Setter, with a sweet pleasing disposition and temperament. Our Irish Setters are good personal gun dog, close working, very intelligent, they are easily trained bird dogs for hunting. They make good family pets.

Our first Irish Setter was purchased in 1975, her ancestry was traced back to the ARGO Kennel and O'LANNEN Lines. This line is close quartering, staunch pointing with natural retrieving instincts.

Our Champion Wendover Line - True Hunting Dogs

In 1988 we purchased our Wendover Irish Setter puppy, Paddington Tallboy. We imported him from North Hampton England, from the Estate of the late J.P.C. James. With the introduction of the Wendover line from England came more beauty and grace. This large, dark, sleek elegant dog produced many graceful offspring. With their long bodies and long legs they exhibit a graceful, hunting pattern, quartering closely and effortlessly and locking staunchly onto their birds. Proud and noble looking, Irish Setters are truly a gentleman's hunting dog, with a passion for pleasing and performing and unbelievable stamina enabling them to be a hunting dog that will to work all day in the field.

The Irish Setter is one bird dog that never had to be redefined, as he was always a first class dog, with a happy go lucky, charming disposition and pleasing manner. These innate fine genetic traits, with unrelenting drive makes him the finest, most beautiful Bird Dog of the past and the present.

Today, the finest hunting dogs available comes from the Wendover Line. They are from Dual British Champions, their pedigrees sound.

Our Kennel has been breeding real nice hunting Irish Setter puppies for the general public for over 30 years.
In 2003 we added a Champion show line to our kennel, from the Fleetwood Farms / Meadowlarks line. If you are interested the Meadowlark / Fleetwood farms line contact us. We do not breed many litters from this line since there is not a very high demand for them. We have a limited number of these show dogs from our show lines, so contact us to see if we have puppies available from these lines.

• Our puppies are priced according to age, gender, bloodline. Call for prices.
• We have a number of lines from traditional field dogs to champion show dogs that we presently carry, call us if you are interested in a specific line. We have Pin Oak, Meadowlarks, Wendovers and other lines.
• Our dogs are sold as AKC pets Ltd.
• We breed a basic family gun dog for all types of birds. Sometimes I have older partly started dogs available.
• Guaranteed to be free of life threatening congenital defects. Guaranteed to be PRA free.
• We ship our puppies via air freight, buyer pays for shipping costs.
• Our Irish Setter puppies have had their shots and have been wormed.

Our Dogs are Raised in a Healthy Rural Wisconsin Environment

Our dogs have a large rural area, partly wooded and field, in which to practice their hunting skills. Our pups have a large area to play and go hunting. All are real happy, the grouse sit in the trees all around our kennel and pick the tender buds which excite the young setters. In the summer months the puppies get a lot of practice chasing and pointing at butterflies.
